Cristina Tadeo is a dance artist, maker, and improviser. Her artistic practice is situated at the intersection of performance, environment, visual design, and process documentary—informed by training in contemporary dance forms, somatic practice, and studio art.
Her recent graduate research at the University of New Mexico was focused on the theory and practice of sensation, improvisation, embodied experience, and socially-engaged performance forms. She holds a BFA in Dancemaking from Columbia College Chicago and has supported various artists and organizations as a professional arts administrator, graphic designer, and grant writer since 2010. She currently serves as the Manager of Operations for Chicago-based dance company, Khecari
